the view from my living room

this picture is for my advance photo class, i took it this morning while enjoying the wonders of nature, i think is a cool picture because of the the snow is around the fired hydrant, I've never seen anything like it, there's probably over 12 inches of snow, wow how great nature can be.

Hi,I'm in section 7167,too. I think this photo is very cute. The fire hydrant looks very cold, so I feel that I have to help him.(or her) Maybe he has never exprienced that much snow before. I agree with Yifang,my classmate, the fire hydrant is viwer's focal point because of the color.

Great object placement… Composition wise, I think is very powerful. There are two great distinctions. On one hand you have water frozen and on the other water retained and preserved. You have an eye for good compositions.

I like this picture because for some reason or the other I find it very comical. Maybe I just watch too much Tom & Jerry but looking at it I feel like someone's going to hit the hydrant with a shovel or a dog is going to walk by pee a bright yellow pee on it and just walk off. It's a silly picture in a good way. A very nice reminder that we can have fun in the snow.
